Aeronautical Ad Hoc Network for Civil Aviation
نویسندگان
چکیده
Aeronautical communication systems are constantly evolving in order to handle the always increasing flow of data generated by civil aviation. In this article we first present communication systems currently used for en-route aircraft. We then propose Aeronautical Ad hoc NETwork (AANET) as a complementary communication system and demonstrate its connectivity and assess the throughput by simulations based on real aircraft trajectories over the French sky and over the At-

Survey on Context-Aware Publish/Subscribe Systems for VANET
The publish / subscribe scheme is an efficient paradigm for communication widely used in wired networks. However the use of this paradigm in the context of mobile networks such as VANETs is still an open research topic. In particular, the communication needs of mobile nodes often depend on the node state, location and/or surroundings. Consequently, extensions to the P/S paradigm have been propo...

Aeronautical Telecommunication Network (ATN) has been developed by the International Civil Aviation Organization to integrate Air-Ground and Ground-Ground data communication for aeronautical applications into a single network serving Air TraÆc Control and Aeronautical Operational Communications. To carry time critical information required for aeronautical applications, ATN provides di erent Qua...
متن کاملMobility Route Optimization Requirements for Operational Use in Aeronautics and Space Exploration Mobile Networks
This document describes the requirements and desired properties of Network Mobility (NEMO) Route Optimization techniques for use in global-networked communications systems for aeronautics and space exploration. Substantial input to these requirements was given by aeronautical communications experts outside the IETF, including members of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and o...

متن کاملPresenting a New Method Based on Branch Placement for Optimal Placement of Phasor Measurement Units
In this paper, a new method based on branch placement for the optimal positioning of Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs) in power systems is proposed. In this method, the PMUs are in type of single-channel and are installed at the beginning of the branches. Therefore, they are able to measure the bus voltages. Also, the installation of the PMUs on the branches increases the security of observabilit...
